Mr. Hoffman is a Managing Director at Craig-Hallum and has more than 18 years of investment banking experience including numerous transactions in software, communications and services. Prior to joining Craig-Hallum, Hugh was a senior Managing Director in Technology at Piper Jaffray where he ran that firm's M&A practice in Software and Services for over 8 years. Hugh has completed over 100 transactions and throughout his career has established solid relationships with leading public companies, venture capitalists and buyout firms. Hoffman has worked at Dain Rauscher Corporation, where he started the firm's software practice, and Dillon, Read and Co. Inc. in New York and London. Mr. Hoffman graduated from the University of Denver summa cum laude, and received his Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.
